HueSteps is designed as a low-data website. It has no user accounts, photo uploads, public comments, checkout processes, or personalized tracking profiles.
Cloudflare provides DNS, security, content delivery network (CDN), and hosting. As with standard web delivery, Cloudflare may process network request metadata such as IP address, device/browser details, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals under its own privacy commitments.
When a visit originates from a Pinterest campaign or verified Pinterest referrer, HueSteps records limited referral metrics: landing path, campaign/Pin identifiers in the URL, timestamp, country, and broad device category. The referrer is used only to validate the traffic source and is not stored.
Before storing network identifiers, the server truncates IPv6 addresses to a /64 subnet and applies HMAC-SHA-256 with a private secret. HueSteps never stores or exposes raw IP addresses. The resulting pseudonymous network identifier estimates unique network origins, not individual persons.
Pseudonymous Pinterest event data is automatically purged after 400 days. If your browser broadcasts Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT) signals, HueSteps completely suppresses Pinterest analytics logging.
Cloudflare Web Analytics may be enabled without cookies or personal tracking. HueSteps does not include Google Analytics 4 (GA4), AdSense, third-party marketing pixels, or advertising trackers at launch.
Opening external merchant or social links directs you to third-party platforms governed by their own privacy practices. Emailing HueSteps shares only the information you voluntarily provide. Please do not transmit sensitive health or financial information.
